Barrage Board Game

Barrage is a challenging resource management and strategic placement board game in which players compete to build dams, increase their water storage capacity and generate energy through pressure tunnels connected to powerhouse turbines. Each player represents an international company competing to control the water resources of an Alpine region by collecting machinery, innovative patents and skilled engineers to secure the best construction locations. The game features two unique mechanisms: a Construction Wheel, which requires players to carefully manage their resources and action tokens as they become available again after a full turn, and a shared river system where players must strategically capture, store and redirect flowing water to generate power while competing against opponents. Players must build and raise dams, construct tunnels and manage water flow efficiently, as water is released back into the rivers after generating energy and can be used again by other players. Across five rounds, players compete to fulfil power requirements, complete personal contracts, upgrade their machinery and construct special buildings to strengthen their strategies, offering a deeply engaging and competitive experience for fans of strategic and economic board games.
